Feasibility study for a recurring artistic event relying on innovative digital and light-related technologies

Context:

The city of Vincennes – together with the French Army’s Historical Service (Service historique de la Défense, SHD) and the Center of National Monuments (CMN) – issued a tender for the creation of an innovative digital event that would be the signature of the Château de Vincennes. This initiative responds to the need for openness and exposure of an hidden historical jewel. Beaux Arts Consulting, in association with CENTQUATRE-Paris and FIDAL law firm, developed innovative events scenarios in order to unveil the castle identity and enlarge its audience outreach.

Activities:

  • Benchmarked innovative and digital cultural experiences in France and internationally
  • Performed an on-site diagnosis and identified the various project expectations through individual interviews
  • Proposed events scenarios including: artistic direction, technological feasibility, business model and governance options
  • Detailed two events’ synopsis including the artistic orientation, the technical feasibility, the roadmap and operating business model
