Preparing the evolution of the cultural offering and business model of a public institution

Context:

The management of a prestigious Parisian institution assigned Beaux Arts Consulting with the repositiong of its cultural offering in order to enlarge its audience and enhance its revenues. The project led to the evolution of the institution’s business model, bringing together: programming strategy, high quality offering, digital innovation and financial efficiency.

Activities:

  • Performed a diagnosis and analysed the positioning and business model of the institution through interviews and documents review
  • Benchmarked French and international institutions
  • Identified and prioritized the opportunities to diversify the institution’s revenues
  • Developed and reviewed evolution scenarios through workshop sessions with internal stakeholders
  • Proposed new orientations in terms of programming and mediation, with a strong focus on innovation
  • Performed a detailed economic and business modelling of the selected scenario and developed an operating roadmap
